FCC and ISED Certification

Products planned to be sold in USA and its territories need to be certified from the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) the independent agency that regulates communications. Test reports from an FCC accredited lab are submitted in order to show compliance with the Radio, EMC and SAR (specific absorption rate) technical requirements. Certified products must carry the FCC logo and radio products the FCC ID.

For sales in Canada, compliance to Innovation, Science and Economic Development (ISED) Canada standards is required. Those requirements are very similar to those of FCC so it is common that Canadian certification is performed in parallel to FCC certification. The Industry Canada IC logo should be affixed to a certified product.

We have great experience with the FCC/ISED certification process and getting the FCC/IC mark for your product. We cover a wide range of technologies and we can help to give them access to the USA and Canada markets.
